Six students from the Class of 2022 at the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University (UGM), have once again achieved a proud accomplishment at the national level. In the Contract Drafting and Negotiation Competition at the 5th National Business Legal Talk (NBLT) 2025, organized by the Faculty of Law at Sebelas Maret University, the SKADI Team\u2014comprising Khaira Aliya Maleeka, Nindy Rahmadani, Falens Nicanor, Cut Athaya Putri Khalishah, Marselina Setiyowati, and Intania Widhia Ramadhani\u2014successfully secured second place. This achievement not only demonstrates their excellence in legal reasoning but has also brought honor to UGM on the national stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this competition, the SKADI Team was challenged to draft a comprehensive business agreement, conduct an in-depth legal analysis, and demonstrate negotiation skills that would benefit all parties involved. In the process, they had to draft and negotiate a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for a Geothermal Power Plant (GPP) before a panel of judges on Saturday, February 22, 2025, based on the case scenario provided. The SKADI Team\u2019s success was due in large part to their thorough preparation, including the utilization of various academic resources at UGM, access to legal literature, and intensive guidance from their advisor, Dr. R.A. Antari Innaka T., S.H., M.Hum., who provided input and strategies for drafting the contract throughout the competition. In addition, the SKADI Team regularly conducted negotiation practice sessions to ensure they could present themselves confidently before the judges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is hoped that the achievements of the SKADI Team will inspire other students in the Faculty of Law to continue learning and excelling in the field of law. Furthermore, this achievement is tangible proof of the quality of education they received during their studies at UGM, which will strengthen the reputation of the UGM Faculty of Law at the national level. Thus, this achievement demonstrates that with hard work and a high level of dedication, students can achieve remarkable accomplishments at the national level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
