The Master\u2019s Program in Law at Gadjah Mada University successfully held a curriculum evaluation and development workshop on Thursday (December 12, 2024) at the Alana Palagan Hotel. The event, which took place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. WIB, was attended by nearly all department heads from the various clusters within the Master\u2019s Program in Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This workshop was led by two prominent moderators, Sri Wiyanti Eddyono, S.H., LL.M., HR. Ph.D., and Rangga Dachlan, DPhil. Both serve as program directors for the Master of Law program. The event aimed to evaluate and develop the curriculum for the Master of Law program by engaging various stakeholders to provide constructive feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the first session, the moderator presented an overview of the Master\u2019s Program in Law and the results of the curriculum evaluation, which was based on a user satisfaction survey and feedback from students. The evaluation results identified several areas that need improvement and adaptation to meet the needs of the job market and reflect the latest developments in legal scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next session featured an active discussion among the participants, who shared their feedback on the current curriculum. Suggestions included adjusting the credit hours per course and revising certain courses to make them more relevant to today\u2019s needs. The participants also agreed to continue developing the curriculum to make it more effective in producing graduates who are prepared to face the challenges of the legal profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The discussion was very productive and resulted in a decision to add a new track to the Master of Law Program. The name of this new track, along with the courses to be offered, will be discussed further in subsequent meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This workshop is an important step in the development of the curriculum for the Master\u2019s Program in Law, which is expected to result in a curriculum that is more adaptive, relevant, and of high quality, in line with the needs of the times and developments in legal scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the holding of this workshop, it is hoped that the Master\u2019s Program in Law at Gadjah Mada University will become even more successful in producing high-quality legal professionals who are ready to make significant contributions to the Indonesian legal community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
