The event took place in Room B.5.4 of Building B at the UGM Faculty of Law, with the aim of aligning the existing curriculum with the latest policies. These latest policies are outlined in Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation No. 53 of 2023 on Quality Assurance in Higher Education and UGM Rector\u2019s Regulation No. 23 of 2024 on Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">This FGD brought together various stakeholders, including representatives from the Yogyakarta Regional Police, the Yogyakarta High Prosecutor\u2019s Office, the Yogyakarta High Court, as well as legal practitioners who are also alumni. The stakeholders collaborated to provide relevant input and guidance, ensuring the curriculum remains aligned with the current needs of the legal profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Head of the Master\u2019s Program in Litigation Law, Supriyadi, S.H., M.Hum., emphasized the importance of this revision to improve the quality of education and ensure graduates possess competencies aligned with the demands of the legal profession. \u201cWe hope that through this FGD, we can formulate a curriculum that is more responsive to legal developments and the needs of practitioners in the field,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This curriculum revision is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education and SDG 16 on Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. SDG 4 emphasizes the importance of inclusive and equitable education, while SDG 16 aims to strengthen transparent and accountable legal institutions and ensure access to justice for all.
