{"id":30485,"date":"2024-10-02T11:26:43","date_gmt":"2024-10-02T04:26:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/law.ugm.ac.id\/?p=30485"},"modified":"2024-10-14T11:32:35","modified_gmt":"2024-10-14T04:32:35","slug":"kmmh-fh-ugm-gandeng-kemenkumham-diy-untuk-wujudkan-program-desa-sadar-hukum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/law.ugm.ac.id\/en\/kmmh-fh-ugm-gandeng-kemenkumham-diy-untuk-wujudkan-program-desa-sadar-hukum\/","title":{"rendered":"KMMH FH UGM Collaborated with Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Yogyakarta to Implement the Legally Aware Village Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Master of Law Student Family of the Faculty of Law UGM (KMMH) held a meeting with Regional Office (Kanwil) of Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Yogyakarta to discuss the collaboration program of Legal Awareness Village&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This meeting was conducted in Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Yogyakarta Regional Office on Monday (30\/09\/2024). This meeting was attended by Meidy Firmansyah, S.Sos. Head of the Legal Services and Human Rights Division, and Staff of the DIY Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office, as well as several teams from the KMMH represented by the Chair of KMMH, Azmi Fathu Rohman, S.H., Head of the Community Service Department, Moh. Asman Novi Ambar, S.H., and the person in charge of the program, Boyi Well Djon, SH., as well as the KMMH Management Board for 2024-2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the discussion, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Yogyakarta emphasized that this program is an annual program that aimed to improve the legal compliance and awareness in the village level.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cUntil today, there are several villages in Yogyakarta, one of the Data shows that in Gunung Kidul, out of 144 villages, there are only 25 villages (17%) that have been appointed as the Legal Aware Village, meanwhile 58 villages (40%) still in the process of transformation, 52 villages (36%) still in the process of improving the legal awareness in the level of family, and 78 villages (54%) is not starting yet. Therefore, an intensive collaboration is needed to inaugurate those villages and we warmly welcomed the initiative from KMMH FH UGM that wants to collaborate in this program. The Legally Aware Village is a strategic program that holds an important role in building a community that aware and comply to the law. We are ready to collaborate with KMMH to strengthen this program, especially to the villages that is still not started yet,\u201d said Meidy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, from KMMH, Azmi Fathu Rohman stated that the preparation from KMMH to be involved in this program is aligned with their mission in supporting the Three Pillars of Higher Education.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKMMH committed to participate in the Legally Aware Program, especially through the legal education based on the topics that are needed by the people, so that we can give a concrete good impact from the perspective of legal awareness improvement or the eradication of the numbers of law violations in those villages,\u201d said Azmi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both parties agreed to promptly follow up on this discussion through concrete actions.
