On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, the Faculty of Law of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), through the Legal Aid Consultation Center (PKBH), in collaboration with the Yogyakarta High Prosecutor's Office, successfully conducted a legal counseling session titled \"Suluh Praja\" at the Melikan Village Hall, Rongko District, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. This legal counseling aimed to provide insights and legal knowledge to the attendees, which included village officials and the surrounding community, on common legal issues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This session of Suluh Praja focused on the theme \"Formulation of Village Regulations and Illegal Online Course <\/em>Loans\" to educate the participants on village regulations and the dangers of illegal online<\/em> loans<\/p>\n\n\n\n The event began with a welcome speech by the Head of Melikan Village, Agus Sumarno, A.Md. Following this, Anang Zaki Kurniawan, S.H., M.H. from the Yogyakarta High Prosecutor's Office provided an introduction and presented material on the duties, main tasks, and functions of the civil and administrative sectors of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The material was presented by speakers from the UGM Faculty of Law, namely Muhammad Jibril, S.H., M.PrivateLaw, a lecturer from the Department of Civil Law, who discussed the theme \"Illegal Online Course <\/em>oans,\" providing insights into the legal aspects of illegal online<\/em> and dangers of illegal online <\/em>loans. Additionally, another speaker Bimo Fajar Hantoro, S.H., LL.M., addressed the theme \"Formulation of Village Regulations,\" offering guidance to village officials on important aspects of drafting village regulations. Both speakers from UGM actively participated in the Q&A session with the village officials.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n The presentations from both speakers were delivered interactively and engagingly, resulting in a productive discussion.
