The delegation was led by Josiah Patrick Bagayas, Head of the Center for Legal Aid and Advocacy. The purpose of this visit to UGM was to hold discussions with UGM\u2019s Center for Legal Consultation and Assistance regarding the establishment of a new Center for Legal Aid and Advocacy, which was founded in January 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Josiah Patrick Bagayas stated that the visit by the Mariano Marcos State University College of Law to UGM was prompted by survey results indicating a high number of housing and debt cases in the Philippines. This exploration of cooperation is one form of the University\u2019s support in assisting the community.
