The ceremony was opened by the Associate Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems at UGM\u2019s Faculty of Law, Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A.<\/p>\n<p>The event then continued with the presentation of transcripts to graduates who graduated with honors by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation at the UGM Faculty of Law, Adrianto Dwi Nugroho, S.H., Adv.LL. M., LL.D.; the Associate Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources at the Faculty of Law, UGM, Dr. Mailinda Eka Yuniza, S.H., LL.M.; and the Associate Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems at the Faculty of Law, UGM, Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A. This was followed by the presentation of transcripts by the Head of the Study Program, Dr. Wahyu Yun Santoso, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M.<\/p>\n<p>For this graduation ceremony, the title of valedictorian went to Muhammad Ibnu Pratista, who achieved a GPA of 3.97 and graduated with honors. In addition to Muhammad Ibnu, 62 of the 88 other graduates also graduated with honors.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony continued with remarks from the student representative, delivered by Muhammad Ibnu as this term\u2019s top graduate. In his speech, Muhammad Ibnu expressed his hope that his fellow graduates would help make the world a better, more peaceful, and more just place. \u201cToday, after this celebration, we will go out into the world and overcome all the challenges that lie ahead. This is the first of many victories to come. But always remember, the path will never be easy. Congratulations as you spread your wings and set out on your respective paths,\u201d Muhammad Ibnu told his fellow graduates.<\/p>\n<p>Following that, the remarks continued with a speech by a representative of the graduates\u2019 parents, Prof. Dr. Liliana Baskorowati, S.Hut., M.P., who said, \u201cCurrently, our country is facing many issues related to the erosion of human values of integrity. My dear graduates, integrity is the unity of one\u2019s thoughts, feelings, words, and actions that are in harmony with one\u2019s conscience and the norms of society. You must uphold this integrity wherever you may be and whatever profession you may pursue in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event then continued with remarks from the Associate Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems at the UGM Faculty of Law, Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A. In his remarks, he asked the graduates to stand and bow as a gesture of gratitude to their parents for guiding them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">\u201cLadies and gentlemen, these are your sons and daughters who, during the 2018 or 2019 Freshman Orientation Program (PPSMB), were entrusted to us at the UGM Faculty of Law so that we could educate them, teach them about legal knowledge, and\u2014most importantly\u2014instill in them the values of mature learning. Today, on behalf of the UGM Faculty of Law and the entire academic community, allow us to send off your sons and daughters as they embark on the next stage of their journey to become legal professionals\u2014all made possible by your help, support, prayers, and sacrifices. \u201cSo, dear graduates, let us express our most sincere gratitude to your parents,\u201d said Jaka Triyana as he led the audience in paying tribute to the parents of the graduates.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to the graduates of the UGM Faculty of Law\u2019s undergraduate program, third graduation period.
