The theme was \"Principles of Inheritance Law and Their Application in Practice.\"&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session featured two speakers: Dr. Destri Budi Nugraheni from FH UGM and Dra. Syamsiah, M.H., from the Sleman Religious Court. Dr. Khotibul Umam, S.H., LL.M., also from FH UGM, served as moderator.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session was divided into two presentation segments and a Q&amp;A segment. In the first segment, the speaker explained the concept of Islamic inheritance law, outlining its eight underlying principles: inheritance triggered by death, the <em>ijabari<\/em>\u200e (mandatory\/automatic transfer) principle, individual ownership, blood relation, balanced justice, bilateral relation, direct heirs versus substitute heirs, and mandatory will alongside equal treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the second segment, the speaker continued discussing Islamic inheritance law, this time focusing on five key principles: the <em>ijabari<\/em>\u200e principle, bilateral relation, individual ownership, inheritance triggered by death, and the principle of Islamic personal status.
