The event took place on Thursday (18\/8) at Room 3.1.1, FH UGM, and was attended by all prospective graduates from 08.30 to 15.00 WIB. The speakers were Dra. Dwiana Saktiati Siswanto, Efy Latifah, S.Psi., and Toto Trihamtoro, S.H., M.M., three accomplished professionals with experience in their respective fields.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"translation-block\">The briefing was divided into three sessions covering Personal Branding, Attitude and Attire, Ready for Dream Job, and Being Unique is Great. The first session featured Dra. Dwiana Saktiati Siswanto, a lecturer at UGM's Vocational School, who discussed personal branding, attitude and attire. The session was moderated by Karina Putri, S.H., LL.M., M.DevPrac(Adv), a lecturer at the Department of Commercial Law, FH UGM.\nIn her presentation, Dwiana explained that a common challenge faced by job seekers during recruitment is a lack of self-confidence. She also highlighted the importance of soft skills in professional interactions, noting that service etiquette consists largely of soft skills, alongside technical abilities. Therefore, in addition to demonstrating strong technical competence, job seekers need to build and present a positive professional image. The session also covered appropriate body language as part of developing a positive personal image.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"translation-block\">Following the discussion on personal branding, the second session, Ready for Dream Job, focused on preparing a Curriculum Vitae (CV) and techniques for job interviews. Efy Latifah, S.Psi., founder of Aire Consultant and a graduate of UGM's Faculty of Psychology, served as the speaker. She explained the stages of the recruitment process and shared insights into the qualities employers look for in prospective employees. According to Efy, companies are not only looking for candidates with strong technical skills but also those who are able to adapt to the organization's culture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"translation-block\">After a one-hour lunch break, the briefing continued with the third session, Being Unique is Great, featuring FH UGM alumnus Toto Trihamtoro, S.H., M.M. Toto shared his career journey as the founder of Protecom Security Services in Jakarta, a career path that was relatively unconventional for a law graduate who had previously spent eleven years working as a banker at several leading banks.\nModerated by Dra. Dani Krisnawati, S.H., M.Hum., Chair of LCDC FH UGM, the session focused on strategies for building professional networks and using them to develop one's career. Toto also shared his experiences working with the Indonesian National Police in various collaborations, including at the international level. By stepping outside his comfort zone, Toto demonstrated how a law degree, combined with hard work and strong professional networks, can open opportunities beyond conventional legal careers. His experience as a softball athlete during his university years also shaped his approach to work and professional development.\nWith the motto \u201cthe more you work, the more you get,\u201d Toto emphasized that career success requires persistence, effective networking, and strong interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">All three sessions were conducted interactively, combining practical exercises with question-and-answer sessions between the prospective graduates and speakers.
