Study Plan Registration<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7f3037f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7f3037f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Before the commence\u00a0of a new semester each student must choose the courses they want to take by filling out a Study Plan (<em>Kartu Rencana Studi<\/em>\/ KRS) via SIMASTER application or at\u00a0<a style=\"color: #6e0000\" href=\"https:\/\/simaster.ugm.ac.id\/\"><u>https:\/\/simaster.ugm.ac.id\/\u00a0<\/u><\/a>\u00a0including those students who had taken a course of\u00a0 \u201cLegal Research\u201d in the previous semester. Each student can log onto the Portal using Single Sign On (SSO) account. The amount of credits a student may take in each semester (with the exception of the first semester) depends on their Grade Point Average (<em>Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif<\/em>\/GPA\/IP) obtained in the previous semester only, as formulated below:<\/p><ul><li>GPA \u2265 3.00\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : maximum 24 credits;<\/li><li>GPA 2.50-2.99 : maximum 21 credits;<\/li><li>GPA 2.00-2.49 : maximum 18 credits;<\/li><li>GPA 1.50-1.99\u00a0 : maximum 15 credits; and<\/li><li>GPA \u2264 1.49\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 : maximum 12 credits.<\/li><\/ul><p>Please note\u00a0for a student whose\u00a0University Registration Number (NIU) is ended with odd number (e.g. 1, 3, 5, 7, etc), s\/he shall choose\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">class A<\/span>\u00a0, and for a student whose NIU is ended with even number (e.g. 2, 4, 6, etc) s\/he shall choose\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">class B<\/span>. This means the exceptional IUP students have the chance to obtain two undergraduate degrees in law, one from UGM and one from a partner university abroad namely the School of Law at University of Maastricht, The Netherlands, without having to spend extra years. In approximately four years successful candidates will have obtained a\u00a0<em>Sarjana Hukum<\/em>\u00a0degree from UGM and a\u00a0<em>Legum Baccalaureus<\/em>(Bachelor of Laws\/LL.B.) from a partner university.<\/p><p>Joining Dual Degree program between FH UGM and School of Law in the University of Maastricht, The Netherlands will be a good opportunity for students to pursue. A student will get two valuable degrees effectively without losing time within four years.<\/p><p><strong>Term of Study<\/strong><\/p><p>In this Double Degree program a student will undergo first year of study at IUP FH UGM and then continue for two years at Maastricht University and spend one year again at IUP FH UGM. At the end of the term the graduate will be awarded two undergraduate degrees in law.<\/p><p>Please note that during the global pandemic nowadays, it is important to be understood that our partner universities may conduct the lectures either fully online or blended learning method.<\/p><p><strong>Timeline Application<\/strong><\/p><p>Application: February \u2013 March<br \/>Internal Selection: April<br \/>Nomination : April<\/p><p><strong>Preliminary Notice Updated<\/strong>\u00a0(7 May 2021): Although IUP already conducted an internal selection on April 2021 and nominated six students to join Double Degree Program, there is still possibility that IUP will conduct another internal selection on this May 2021, therefore for those students who are interested to join Double Degree Program are strongly encouraged to prepare the required documents below and to complete the online application form as soon as possible. Please note that at this moment IUP is still waiting affirmative confirmation from University\u00a0 of Maastricht to conduct the second internal selection.<\/p><p><strong>Procedure<\/strong><\/p><p>To apply Dual Degree (DD) Program, a student shall have an outstanding performance in semester 1. It will be better if the course is fit with the student\u2019s concentration study.<\/li><li>Besides, the course shall be offered by reputable and qualified institution, such as university (ex: University of Tokyo, Institute of Social Studies, International Anti-Corruption Academy, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, etc); AND\/OR International NGO (such as: Transparency International, Friends of the Earth, Amnesty International, etc); AND\/OR reputable international organisation (like UN, OECD, WB, ASEAN etc).<\/li><li>Minimum duration of the international course shall be five days, as it is considered as the appropriate minimum time to enable the students engaging with the international communities.<\/li><li>Do not choose a course which is lower or higher than your academic qualification.
