Procedure How to Choose Concentration<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Students may choose from four areas of concentration: Business Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and International Law. The requirements for enrolling in an area of concentration are as follows:<\/p>

  1. Completion of a minimum of 90 credits;<\/li>
  2. Availability of space for elective course(s) in the Study Plan for that semester. No student may take more than 24 credits of courses; and<\/li>
  3. A minimum GPA of 2.50 with grade D consisting of no more than 20% of the total number of courses in the Transcript of Academic Records.<\/li>
  4. Completion with minimum grade B of the related prerequisite courses:<\/li><\/ol>

    Prerequisite Courses for Concentration of Business Law:
    1) Business Law (HKIUP212112); and
    2) International Business Transaction (HKIUP212214).<\/p>

    Prerequisite Courses for Concentration of Constitutional Law:
    1) Constitutional Law (HKIUP212203); and
    2) Constitution and Legislation (HKIUP212113).<\/p>

    Prerequisite Courses for Concentration of Criminal Law:
    1) Criminal Law (HIUP212204); and
    2) Special Criminal Law (HKIUP212217).<\/p>

    Prerequisite Courses for Concentration of International Law:
    1) Foundational International Law (HKIUP212205); and
    2) Advanced International Law (HKIUP212111).<\/p>
