On Friday (15/11/2024), the Law Career Development Center (LCDC) held a Pembekalan Calon Wisudawan Prodi S-1 Periode I TA 2024/2025. This activity is a routine agenda carried out by the Law Career Development Center (LCDC) before the graduation period at Universitas Gadjah Mada. At this time, the theme raised was “From FH UGM to Your Dream Job #10: Peluang Karir Sarjana Hukum di Lembaga Negara Non-Kementerian”. In accordance with this theme, LCDC presented Dr. iur. Antonius Prijadi Soesilo Wibowo, S.H., M.H. as Commissioner of Lembaga Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban (LPSK).
This activity was opened with remarks by Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A. as Deputy Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems. Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A. said that as prospective graduates we must be active in obtaining information about the world of work as a provision in entering the world of work later. Guided by Patricia Nerissa Krisna Putri as the moderator, the event went well from start to finish.
Dr. iur. Antonius started by introducing the Lembaga Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban (LPSK) as a non-structural institution tasked with providing protection and assistance to witnesses and victims of criminal acts, followed by an explanation of the organizational structure of the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK). Dr. iur. Antonius also explained the benefits of a career at Lembaga Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban (LPSK). Before ending his presentation, Dr. iur. Antonius shared some of his experiences as a Commissioner of Lembaga Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban (LPSK) and gave some tips for alumni of the Faculty of Law UGM who are interested in a career in this field. The implementation of this activity is also a concrete manifestation of LCDC's seriousness as one of the units at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada in realizing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially the 4th and 8th points, namely Quality Education and Decent Work and Economic Growth.
