When a district is given an authority to control and take care of its own territory, consequently, the control from the central government will be weak / weaken. Such situation will make the legal products in district uncontrollable that will bring obstacles in a development of national legal system.    

On Friday July, 17th, 2009 in Debating Room FH UGM was held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) which was attended by guests from District Legislative Assembly, District Legal Office, Legal Bureau of this problem. This occasion also launched SadarOtda (Research center of Regulation and District Autonomy impact FH UGM.   

This Occasion was conducted as the cooperation between Indonesian District Legislative Assembly and Faculty of Law UGM. Support from people in faculty of Law UGM were needed to success this event. A special gratitude was dedicated to Prof. Dr. Marsudi Triatmodjo, S.H., LL.M. as the Dean of the faculty and also the senates who have established “SadarOtda”

SadarOtda is for a better Indonesia.
